Chuck Middlekauff One-Man Show – “Pop Goes the West!”
One of our favorite contemporary Western artists will be here in the gallery November 3 from 1 to 6 p.m. Join us for refreshments, meet the artist, and enjoy the excitement of the West the way Chuck Middlekauff sees it. His pop-art-inspired paintings mingle the cowboys and the West with other fun icons from his 50’ & 60’s growing-up years as well as lots of visual surprises. Chuck’s paintings will hang in the gallery until December 31.

Please join us Thursday, November 15, 2018 at noon for the annual Saint Jo Civic Center Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The Civic Center will provide the turkey, ham, dressing, gravy, bread and drinks. We ask that you bring your favorite side dishes (vegetables, salads, or deserts) to complete the meal. Dinner will be served at noon.

The Saint Jo local businesses invite you to kick off the holiday shopping season in Saint Jo by joining us for a night of shopping, live music, carriage rides, tasty treats, drinks, drawings and giveaways.

This year's Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce "Santa on the Square" Celebration will be on Saturday, December 8, 2018 beginning at 2:00 pm.
This year's celebration will include crafts for the children, a Live Manger, a 42 Tournament, and a Parade, as we anticipate Santa's.

In additional to our traditional pictures with Santa, we will also have FREE family photos at the event. And of course, children shouldn't miss their "goody bag" after telling Santa exactly what's on their list.
Merchants and building owners are decorating their windows to bring in the season, so come early and join the fun. All crafts and food at the event are FREE!!
Want to be play some 42? Our 42 tournament will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chamber Building. Entries are for individuals only (no teams). Entry fee is $10 per person. Prizes in addition to bragging rights are First Place $100.00 | Second Place $75.00 | Third Place $50.00. Goodies, Treats and Entertainment
Christmas music will be playing from the gazebo. Gift bags for the children will be handed out by Santa himself and photographs will be taken. The Chamber will serve complimentary beans and cornbread. The Century Club will also provide hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies during the event. The Chamber invites everyone in Montague county and surrounding communities to attend.
Raffle Prize Drawings
With over $2,000 in prizes available, be sure and get your tickets! Tickets are available at the First State Bank in Saint Jo, Saint Jo ISD, City Hall and from Chamber Board Members. Tickets are $2.00 each or 6 tickets for $10.00. We will draw for prizes at the end of the evening. You do NOT have to be present to win!!
Join the Parade!
Entries for the parade will need to be submitted by December 2, 2017. Entries can be lighted or not lighted. Entries will need to arrive no later than 3:00pm on December 9 in the vacant lot north of Leeton Phillips house. Parade rules and regulations will be received when you turn in your entry. Red River Station BBQ is having their Grand Opening! And what better way to do it than to combine Two Parties Into One! We will also be celebrating the release of Tanner Fenoglio's brand new album Lucky Man! The celebration begins at noon with food specials, cornhole tournament, cowboy poetry, custom truck displays, live broadcast from 95.9 FM The Ranch from 6-8PM then we kickoff the evening with Cameron Hobbs Band followed by Tanner Fenoglio with his special guest Jackie Darlene.

Held Annually at Boggess Park
July 4th - Fourth of July Celebration and Old Jo's Firecracker 5K Run. The City of Saint Jo, the Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce and the Saint Jo Volunteer Fire Department will once again sponsor a July 4th Star Spangled Spectacular Fireworks show at Boggess City Park, beginning at full dark, around 9pm. Live music, free watermelon and a concession stand begins at 6pm.
The Old Jo's Firecracker 5K Run will begin at 8am. Please go to, getmeregistered.com, or click here for the entry form and additional information. Merchants on the Saint Jo Chisholm Trail Square will be open until 6pm.
Pre-show entertainment will also start at 6pm with live music in the First State Bank Pavilion. The Chamber of Commerce will continue its tradition of free watermelon all evening which will be served by the Montague County Child Welfare Board. Beginning at 6pm, the concession stand will have hot dogs, hamburgers and other refreshments for purchase.
The Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the sixteenth annual July 4th Freeze-Off at 7:30pm. Teams of 1 to 4 people are invited to prepare homemade ice cream. The winners are chosen by popular vote and independent judges after tasting all the ice cream. Prizes are $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place and $25 for 3rd place.
