Please join us Thursday, November 21, 2019 at noon for the annual Saint Jo Civic Center Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The Civic Center will provide the turkey, ham, dressing, gravy, bread and drinks. We ask that you bring your favorite side dishes (vegetables, salads, or deserts) to complete the meal. Nativity Display at First United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome to come view hundreds of Nativity sets from all over. Refreshments will be served Saturday and Sunday. This year's Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce "Santa on the Square" Celebration will be on Saturday, December 14, 2019 beginning at 2:00 pm.
This year's celebration will include crafts for the children, a Live Manger, a 42 Tournament, and a Parade, as we anticipate Santa's arrival.

In additional to our traditional pictures with Santa, we will also have FREE family photos at the event. And of course, children shouldn't miss their "goody bag" after telling Santa exactly what's on their list.
Merchants and building owners are decorating their windows to bring in the season, so come early and join the fun. All crafts and food at the event are FREE!!
Want to be play some 42? Our 42 tournament will begin at 2:00 pm in the Stonewall Saloon Museum. Entries are for individuals only (no teams). Entry fee is $10 per person. Goodies, Treats and Entertainment
Christmas music will be playing from the gazebo. Gift bags for the children will be handed out by Santa himself and photographs will be taken. The Century Club will also provide hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies during the event. The Chamber invites everyone in Montague county and surrounding communities to attend.
Raffle Prize Drawings
A Ruger 10-22 with a black nylon stock and telescopic site (Valued at $250) and a Kitchen Aid tilt-head stand mixer (Valued at $400): for $10. Several gift baskets for $2 each or 6 for 10. You put the ticket in the box for the item you want. Tickets will be sold at First State Bank, Saint Jo ISD, City Hall, on Ladies Night and from 2:00 - 5:30 the day of the event on the square by the gazebo.
Scavenger Hunt begins at Davis & Blevins art gallery. It will be great fun for the family to hunt treasure around town.
Join the Parade!
Entries for the parade will need to be submitted by December 11, 2019. Entries can be lighted or not lighted. Entries will need to arrive no later than 3:30pm on December 14 in the vacant lot north of Leeton Phillips house. Parade rules and regulations will be received when you turn in your entry. The parade will begin at 4:30 pm. Prizes for the Parade: First Place $100.00 | Second Place $75.00 | Third Place $50.00. Contact Randie Burton at 940-995-2964 for questions.

Please join us in saying “Thank You” to our teachers and all of Saint Jo I.S.D. on Wednesday, August 14 at noon, in the school cafeteria during the 14th annual Toast to Teachers Luncheon.
The tickets to the luncheon are $10.00 per person and money can be mailed to the address below. Walk in's are welcome.

Held Annually at Boggess Park
July 4th - Fourth of July Celebration and Old Jo's Firecracker 5K Run. The City of Saint Jo, the Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce and the Saint Jo Volunteer Fire Department will once again sponsor a July 4th Star Spangled Spectacular Fireworks show at Boggess City Park, beginning at full dark, around 9pm. Live music, free watermelon and a concession stand begins at 6pm.
Pre-show entertainment will also start at 6pm with live music by Jarrod Flusche’s Band in the First State Bank Pavilion. The Chamber of Commerce will continue its tradition of free watermelon all evening. The Saint Jo Youth League is doing the concession stand and will have hot dogs, hamburgers and other refreshments for purchase. For additional information, please call City Hall at 940-995-2337.
Bring your lawn chair and join us in the park for an evening of food, fun, music and fireworks.
A 5K race on a certified route through the historic town of Saint Jo, Texas and out in the beautiful countryside. Sponsored by the Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce and Easy Street Animal Shelter. The Old Jo's Firecracker 5K Run will begin at 8am. Please go to www.runsignup.com.
Red River Valley Tourism Association's (RRVTA) annual 82/287 Yard Sale. Saint Jo is participating in the 2019 yard sale. Call Saint Jo City Hall at 940-995-2337 to sign up and be placed on the map, there is no charge. Maps will be available for pickup at Saint Jo Dairy Queen. Chamber Meeting - CHANGED!!
Our regularly scheduled Chamber meeting should be next Monday, April 8th - BUT we are busy getting ready for the Sporting Clay Event, so we have changed the meeting to Monday, APRIL 15th! That's right TAX day.
So please plan to join us for our meeting so we can tell you all about the Sporting Clay Event and how much fun that was! The meetin starts at 6:30 at the Chamber building. In addition, we will be discussing 4th of July plans, Old Jo's Firecracker 5K, and who knows what else.
Want to join us for dinner? We will be serving "Make Your Own" Chicken Taco Salads, with all the trimmings. And since we are eating healthy, we will have dessert too! Cost of the meal is $5.
