The High School and gym were completed in 1994. An addition to the elementary was completed in 1998. A new monolithic dome style gym and field house was completed in the fall 2006. The dome also serves as a storm shelter in an emergency.
Saint Jo Elementary recently received the prestigious 2005 No Child Left Behind - Blue Ribbon Schools Award. This is the highest honor a school can receive. Only 21 schools nationally received this award.
Saint Jo is proud of the fact that its students are able to benefit from an educational program that is very rich for a small community. our school offers a breadth and depth of curriculum that is comparable with that of communities several times our size. Each year a high percentage of students participate in University Interscholastic League competition in both Elementary and High School. We offer a diversified sports program for both men and women.
