This year's Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce "Santa on the Square" Westward Ho Ho Ho Celebration will be on Saturday, December 9, 2017 beginning at 2:00pm.
There will be horse drawn wagon rides, crafts, a live manger, 42 tournament, and a parade. The Chamber is asking all merchants to decorate their windows. The public will then vote for their favorite window and the winner will be announced during the raffle drawing. The Chamber will have a chuck wagon on the plaza with Ole Saint Nick taking pictures and handing out goody bags! Free beans and cornbread are available to everyone attending the festivities. Entries for the parade will need to be submitted by December 2, 2017. Entries can be lighted or not lighted. Entries will need to arrive no later than 3:00pm on December 9 in the vacant lot north of Leeton Phillips house. Parade rules and regulations will be received when you turn in your entry. The parade will begin at 4:00pm.

Goodies, Treats and Entertainment
Christmas music will be playing from the gazebo. Gift bags for the children will be handed out by Saint Nick and photographs will be taken. The Chamber will serve complimentary beans and cornbread. The Century Club will also provide hot chocolate and cookies during the event. The Chamber invites everyone in Montague county and surrounding communities to attend.
Over $2,000 in prizes will be available for patrons purchasing tickets from the Chamber. Tickets are $2.00 each or 6 tickets for $10.00 and are available at City Hall and First State Bank.

Ladies Night on the Square.
The Saint Jo Merchants Association invites you to kick off the holiday shopping season in Saint Jo by joining us for a night of shopping, live music, carriage rides, tasty treats, drinks, drawings and giveaways.

Please join us Thursday, November 16, 2017 at noon for the annual Saint Jo Civic Center Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The Civic Center will provide the turkey, ham, dressing, gravy, bread and drinks. We ask that you bring your favorite side dishes (vegetables, salads, or deserts) to complete the meal. Dinner will be served at noon.
